TAJWEED TIP : LEVELS OF GUNNAH; DEFINITE ARTICLE



Tajweed tip:
🔐 Order of Strengths of Gunnah

                   GROUP 1: Has clear Gunnah.
1st Strongest Level Gunnah:
Noon Mushaddadah and Meem Mushadadahn
Eg; anna, mimma

2nd Level of Gunnah:
IDGHAAM INCOMPLETE  (waw and ya) and COMPLETE ( noon and meem mushadadah) 

3rd Level of Gunnah:
IKHFAA HAQEEQEE and IKFAA SHAFAWI 

                        GROUP 2: its Gunnah is not clear
 4th level Gunnah: When SUKOON on noon or meem.

5th Weekest level Gunnah: When there is MUTAHARIK with any haraka on noon or meem. Eg; ma me mu or na ni nu

🔐 The Definate article "al"

The definate article "al" alif laam has 2 Rulings:
It can be IZHAAR or IDGHAAM:
IZHAAR: When the laam is clearly pronounced.
Eg; al ejla 
🐥NOTE; Ayath 26 surah 80Abasa "aw yazzakaru fatannfaa'ahUZZIkra." 

IDGHAAM: When the laam is merged into the next letter so not pronounced. 
Eg; Ar Raheem
🐥NOTE; Ayath 4 surah 80Abasa "thumma shaqaqNAL ardha shaqqaa"

(Only the gunnah recitations will be corrected, rest of the Tajweed not covered will not be pointed out in sha Allah)

🐥4. Write any one ayath which has all the levels of Gunnah in sha Allah with translation and reference. 

🐥5. What is the dua we need to recite to help us memorize better and increase us in knowledge. What is the other integral part besides making dua for success in it.

🔐 IDGHAAM SHAFAWI

☆When meem sakin or empty meem is followed by a meem mushaddadah, first meem will be merged with the second meem. 
It has gunnah☆
Eg;
Minkummareedh
This covers the meem sakinah rulings.

🔘What are all the three rulings of meem sakinah again?
IZHAR SHAFAWI meem followed by any letters other than ba or meem mushadadah. It has no gunnah
IKHFAA SHAFAWI meem meets with ba meem sound blurred and its pronounced with slightly parted lips. It has gunnah
IDGHAAM SHAFAWI meem meets with meem mushaddadah first meem will be merged into the second meem. It has gunnah.  

🔘What is an examle for the IDHGAAM SHAFAWI again?
Surah buruj ayath 20.




Tajweed tip 🐣
🔐 NOON & MEEM MUSHADDADAH

☆When noon or meem have a shaddah on it, it is repeated twice and has gunnah no matter what letter comes after it☆                

🔘What is shaddah? 
It is a small w sign on any letter causing it to be repeated twice.
Eg;
Innaa=> in + naa shaddah on noon causes repeating the noon
Humma=> hum+ma
Shadah on meem causes repeating the meem
Illaa => il+laa
Shaddah on laam causes repeating the laam

🔘What is mushaddadah? 
It is the letter that has shaddah on it. 

🔘What is gunnah?
It is the beautiful nasal sound for 2 harakah stretch. 


☆When a MEEM sakinah is followed be any letters other than meem or ba then we sound the MEEM clearly there is no gunnah☆

🔘What is MEEM sakinah?
              Noon with no harakat that is  Empty noon or in Indian mushaf noon with sukoon.

🔘What happens when MEEM meets BA ?
            ☆The MEEM sound is blurred and it is pronounced with slightly parted lips☆ It iis called IKHFAA SHAFAWI
Eg; MinhuMMBillahi

🔘What is gunnah? 
Its a beautiful nasal sound.

Assalamualekum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,

Lets begin Tajweed review series in sha Allah!

I want to review one Tajweed tip as a welcome to the new Hijri Year 1436. In sha Allah! 
Learn and try a quiz with it in sha Allah!

🔐IZHAAR HALAQI:

☆When a noon sakin or tanween is followed be halaqi letter then we sound the noon clearly there is no gunnah☆

🔘What is noon sakin?
Noon with no harakat that is  Empty noon or in Indian mushaf noon with sukoon.

🔘What is tanween?
When two fathas (fatharain) or two kasras(kasratain) or two dommas(dommatain) are together on an alphabet.  Sounding an in un. Ending with a sound of noon sakinah.

🔘What are halqi letters?
The letters that come out from hallaq throat.  
HA, ha, KHa, hamza, ayn & Ghain

🔘What is gunnah? 
Its a beautiful nasal sound. 



